Netia, the largest alternative fixed-line telephony provider in Poland, gained revenues of PLN 2.12bn (€514.2m) in 2012, a year-on-year increase of 31%.
The company’s adjusted consolidated EBITDA increased by 45% on a yearly basis in 2012, amounting to PLN 591.2m (€143.3m). Last year, Netia recorded a net loss of PLN 87.7m (€21.3m) against the net profit of PLN 248.8m (€60.3m) in 2011.
The number of services (RGUs) totalled 2.69 million at the end of December 2012, compared to 2.79 million at the end of the prior year. The operator explained the decrease in RGU’s by the rapidly decreasing number of fixed-line voice services and fiercer competition on the country’s slowing telecommunication market.
Netia targets sales revenues of PLN 1.93bn (€467.8m) over the course of 2013.
