The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has announced the results of a public auction in the electronic form on the supply of IT and networking equipment. The winner is CSTS (Centre for Advanced Communications Technologies), an IT integrator, which was the only company admitted to trading due to formal and legal reasons. The value of the contract remained at its initial price of RUB 215.8m (approx. €5m). Under the terms of the contract, the winner will supply switching routers designed for installation in standard 19-inch racks, as well as battery packs for the UPS system. The hardware is a part of the integrated telecommunications system of the Ministry.
