High-speed broadband internet for three Hungarian cities

Opticon, Hungarian company providing internet, telephone and television services, plans to start an upgrade of internet networks in three Hungarian cities, according to MTI. The project will cost HUF 1.3bn (€4.2m), while almost 59% of the overall sum, HUF 766m (€2.5m), will be funded from the European Union. Thanks to this project, up to August 2018, more than 6,700 households will be given a high-speed broadband internet.  Last year, the company generated about HUF 550m (€1.8m) in sales revenues.
