Wasko to build FTTH network for Nokia's companies

Wasko, one of the biggest Polish IT integrators, announced that it will be the contractor of FTTH networks in eight areas of the second POPC (Digital Poland Projects Centre) competition. The total value of these contracts amounts to PLN 132.1m (€31.5m). Wasko will design and build GPONs for Eckley Investments and Gladmar Investments in three tender areas (for each company). In the case of Nashford Investments and Rodmer Investments similar works will be done in one project area (for each company). The contracts also cover the provision of five-year maintenance services. The owner of the companies is the Nokia/InfraCapital consortium.

Wasko announced that the contract will be signed by the end of June 2017. In the second competition within 1.1. POPC, Nokia/InfraCapital group was granted a co-financing in a total of 12 areas. Its total value reached ca. PLN 494m (€117.6m).
